Brush Cleanup & Mulching

Hunt, TX

Project Overview

This Hunt property had been worked before — cedar had been cut, but the material was still on the ground along with scattered brush. The owner wanted the cleanup finished so the property could be used again.

Scope of Work

  • Forestry mulched all material the machine could safely reach
  • Chipped and removed brush where mulching was impractical
  • Cleaned up the property as a whole

Terrain & Site Conditions

Rolling Hill Country terrain with sloped sections and rocky ground typical of Hunt and Kerr County. Some pockets suited the mulcher, others called for a different approach.

Challenges & Considerations

Cleaning up someone else's cut work is its own thing — material is scattered, sizes are inconsistent, and some of it sits in spots the mulcher can't reach without tearing up the ground. We split the job between mulching and chipping instead of forcing one tool to do both.

Result

The property is clean, walkable, and ready to be used or maintained on a normal schedule going forward.
