Creek Cleanup & Brush Clearing

Boerne, TX

Project Overview

A dry creek running through this Boerne property had filled in with thick cane and tangled brush to the point you couldn't see the creek anymore. The owner wanted it opened back up, but the creek bottom held moisture and was too soft for heavy equipment. We planned the job from the banks instead.

Scope of Work

  • Cleared brush, cane, and vegetation along both creek banks
  • Hauled off all removed material
  • Worked the job from the edges to protect the soft creek bottom
  • Trimmed trees around the nearby residence

Terrain & Site Conditions

Flat creek bottom with soft, moisture-holding subsurface — equipment-sensitive ground. Thick stands of cane and vines typical of Hill Country creek environments.

Challenges & Considerations

The big call here was access. The ground looked dry on top but was soft underneath, and driving a mulcher across it would have left ruts and torn up the bank. We worked from the edges with the right tools for tight reach.

Result

The creek is visible and accessible again, the banks are clean, surrounding trees are tidied up, and the sensitive ground stayed protected through the whole job.
